I still disagree with that. There is an art to toe-to-toe wars and stay in the pocket and making your foe miss. Hatton is good at this as he has displayed against the likes of Phillips, Tackie, Urango, etc. He would outbox Ward on the outside/inside - whichever he chooses, it doesn't matter. Ward is an exciting TV fighter - NOTHING MORE!!!

I just wanna make it clear im no Ward nutthugger but he has good infighting skills too, Rickys are better and he would probably triumph even on the inside but he would get hit at sum point and it would be a real tough battle or optionally he could just outbox him but no fancy hit u at will type of stuff he is a far greater BOXER than Ward but far from a Great Boxer!

Mickey Ward was a warrior, but that's all he was. I think some people are just letting dislike of Hatton (or ignorance) cloud their judgement by predicting Ward to beat Hatton.

I the get same impression,there's a lot of hate for Hatton on these boards.

i love ward and i could see him maybe giving hatton a bit of trouble in spots but in the end it would be Hatton pulling out a decision cause i think Hatton would be constantly beating Ward to the punch

I kind of see the fight goin the same way,Hatton is world class and Ward is an exciting tv fighter that is overrated by many.Ward may have a few moments in this fight but Hatton would beat him to the punch throughout most of the fight.Hatton would win this by late stoppage after winning virtually every round,even if he does take a few big shots onthe way.imo.

Neary wasn't bad,he used to fight on itv regular if i remember correctly.All action fighter that just faded away after the losses to Ward and McGee,shame because he was good for British boxing at the time.

I think Neary was a europian level fighter,Ward a decent frindge contender and Hatton world class.
