No, Hatton physically doesn't look as strong or move like he used to. Maybe the bad hips that almost caused him to hang up the gloves in '04 really are that bad (but being the class act he is, he isn't using them as an excuse), because he isn't using his side-stepping and leverages (which were his trademarks to get inside and load up bodyshots and combo's).. those were his best assets but now they seem to be eliminated.

Please Juy Juy. He's fighting fighters that are physically stronger than him so he doesn't look devastating. Not to mention he feasted on alot of inferior competition. What I've noticed about Hatton is that if he's not able to bully you, he looks very ordinary. I think the better fighters he's fought are exposing that. JLC is going to stop Hatton because if Urango was able to fight on the inside, he could've made things get very uncomfortable for Hatton.

          i agree
i hate these fake ass boxing fans
as soon as a boxer dont look spectacular
they think their washed up or whatever
mayweather had a few undesired performances
so has hopkins taylor barerra pac man
          and alot of others
doesnt mean they are washed up or done
you step it up and you fight different styles and level
of competition you dont always fight the same
to be a champion and a good boxer you have
to be willing to change your style up and do
what you have to do to fight

non of you mother****ers ever fought so
yeah its easy to say he should do this and
          that this way

ive had a few figths where i knew i wasnt knocking
the guy out when i hit him with my first few hard
shots and he kept comming my whole gear shifts
and i go into boxing cruise mode

when you hit someone and then they buckle or show
that shot hurts then you know you can hurt him
at will and you go for the kill

No your opinion is "rubbish". You flip flop on Hatton/Calzaghe more than anyone else on these boards. Just last week you were calling Hatton the best body puncher of all time & saying he'll retire undefeated. Now he's washed up. That's rubbish. You know Hatton is going to lose JLC so you have your excuse ready.

Hatton wont be on the decline until he hits his 30's. But he needs to fight Floyd before he can be given some real credit, or at least unify the freakin titles.

                Yeah but...

... apart from Mayweather boxing Urangu's ears off without getting involved, can anyone tell who else would have beaten Urangu quite so well? Let's not discredit that guy: he was the toughest dude in town last night and when Ricky tried just about everything possible to take him out and couldn't, his boxing brain realised it wasn't happening, so what did he do? He did what he was meant to do and that was win. Urangu's strength was awesome. And he took some wicked body shots of Hatton.

If you fight nobodies your whole career and not even in America, then you can't suddenly come over here, look subpar and claim you're washed up. Excuses, excuses.

like he "used to"??? You mean 4 years ago when he was fighting nobodies in Britain? lol, yeah I guess it's hard to look as good when you fight out of your hometown and against live bodies like Collazo (for the record, I do not think Urango is even a decent fighter).
