while i think tony would beat paul, i dont think its a tune-up.... it would be a tought fight with the possibility of cuts or injuries... so he's probably thinking why take the risk, fight the bigger fight against the more dangerous cotto for ALOT more money....

Just because Im a fan of Floyds style and fights doesnt mean im irrational at all.
In fact, I am probably the most rational Floyd fan you will enounter on these boards.
you on the other hand, and shockingly biased towards marigrito and everyone knows it.

If its enough time for Cotto, "the most feared man in boxing" should be just fine.

Fighting in a meaningless 10 round fight does nothing for your bank account or legacy. What is he doing? Would you support Floyd if he did this same thing? O I forget you wouldn't and you hated on him for fighting the ring champ. Let's see RING champ > than a tune up.
I can't believe you're actually buying into that bull****.

Carlos Baldomir has 12 ****ing losses on his record, and he was fortunate to find a styles made fight against Zab Judah. That whole deal about the ring calling him the real champ was so ****ing funny it made my sides hurt.

Good god I suppose Reggie Strickland could have won the belts and then he'd be recognized as the man right? To be the man you have to beat the man?

hahahahahahhaah ******est ****ing statement in the history of sports. Baldomir was never the man at 147....he was a temporary belt holder that turned them over to Floyd.
