Either way it's a ridiculous way to get a fight....that would be like Margarito calling Sergio Mora out on television and stating the factual that he beat his ass in a sparring match. I think Margarito last fight was bad so Arum is making a business move too to get rid of Maragrito at the same time to hypen Cotto.

truthfully Arum and Frank Warren are one of the worst promoters because they fear for there investment and dont take risk.

He didn't fight for the $$$, he just got his worth. Beating the linear WW champ in your 4th division doesn't just add to your bank account, just like beating the jr MW in your 5th division doesn't just add to your bank account. It makes you a legend. Fighting in a meaningless 10 round fight does nothing for your bank account or legacy. What is he doing? Would you support Floyd if he did this same thing?
