He is getting definitely better.. Not that I was predicting him to win.. I predicted Toney to lose. There is a slight difference there.

I did not expect for Peter to become significantly better... I was betting on same unskilled slugger fighting a Toney who would become significantly worst. (I was right half way)

After his showing yesterday, I would rate him at #2...

    Peter cannot be hurt!
Question is.. with his tremendous improvement, can Wlad go another 12 rounds keeping him at bay?

I want to see Valuev / Peter before it gets to it.

but could peter avoid walking into an accurate bomb by wlad if he does become more aggressive in a rematch? lets not forget peter was badly hurt from a left hook so wlad is also capable of taking him out. man,,,,I would love to see a rematch here and hope to hell that wlad lets his hands go more instead of tying peter up every time on the inside

parody,,,I have to disagree on the stamina aspect. he showed better stamina in this last fight becuz he was just too heavy the first time around with toney but he's also showed good stamina in past fights including the fight with shufford and pudar. people are misjudging his stamina becuase of the wlad fight in which he was in shape but had a guy as big as him pressuring him with a strong jab and tying him up,,,leaning on him etc. his fight with wlad and toney 1 are really the only 2 fights where he was huffing and puffing in the late rounds

Thank you, it seems that no one seen any Peter fights other then against Toney and Wlad. Peter always threw decent combos and he utilised his jab quite often too. He is olympian and got a pretty good amateur pedigree. It was the Toney fight where Peter came in absolutely unprepared and overweight. He was in a good shape against Wlad too, he was able to pressure Wlad for the whole 12 rounds(in fact he was known as a beastial pressure fighter and thats why so little gave Wlad ay chance against him, not just his punch)but wlad was able to keep him at bay and dance around him without putting much into his punches.

In fact, I think for a Klitschko bout Peter was lighter then yesterday, cant find the weight information though.

            Peter was 243 against Wlad.

BoxRec says he was 243 against Wlad. Which made him 1lb lighter then Wlad.

i still dont think peter can beat Klitschko and imo a fight with valuev would be a pick em , as for maskaev he will get blown out . the briggs fight is interesting because briggs is a HUUGE puncher but doesnt have any kind of punch output

i still remember wlad hurting peter in the 12th with a straight right lead , and i can imagine that if briggs caught him clean with it he could hurt him aswel

Peter vs Wlad - Wlad Ud
Peter vs Valuev - id probably say Peter SD
Peter vs Maskaev - Peter KO 6
Peter vs Briggs - dont really know who to pick id have 2 see peters weight

alll in all peter has definetly improved, his punch output was higher and conditioning much better
