Roy didn't stay at middleweight long enough. Look how he looked against Hopkins. If he back pedaled against Hopkins what is he going to do against Ray who can box, punch and has speed, great timing..Roy can fight with Ray, Roy has that power but Ray had great chin, Roy chin wasn't truly tested at middlweight. I favor Ray by unanimous decicion. Roy would be too cautious against Ray. If Ray can land a clean punch on Roy, maybe its all over for Roy and he revisits his time with Tarver. In reallty you can't really match them up cause Roy didn't stay at middleweight for long, and Ray did. But part of my decicion is based on the Hopkins fight. Roy should have been able to ko Hopkns. I feel Roy has always had that power, but he was too damn cautous, afraid to get hit clean. Again Ray by decision.

Hopkins would also give Robinson a competitive fight at Middleweight, But Roy at Middleweight was a beast, did you check his speed? it was insane

Ray would have an easier time with Hopkins. If Hopkins was afraid of Roys power, he'll be scard of Rays power and speed. Mercado was able to knockdown Hopkins, and Mercado that i recall used some boxing and angles to beat Hopkins. Rays it way better then Mercado and better then Roy and has more fire and balls then all. Ray wins by unanimous decicion. I'll say Hopkins too goes the distance, but again, he can get got.

Hard to say since they're from much different era's. I'd have to back Roy in this one though due to his size advantage, and Roy has all the tools and skill he needs to beat Robinson...

                good match up

both 5'11 roy had 2 inch reach advantage

ray had better defense but i believe
roy was faster if only slightly

prime roy had a good chin(he was hit plenty times before
tarver got to him and took them well)
but ray chin was much more durable.

this is a great match up i feel ray was better overall even
though roy is my fav of alltime.

when i think roy gonna win i think of ways he wont
when i think ray would win i think of ways he wont

i jus tknow at light heavy roy wins lol

there was no size advantage lol
                  they was the same height

the only difference is that ray fought at welter weight for a while
with less muscle roy could have fought welter no prob but he put on more
                  muscle as he went pro

at middleweight roy and ray would be pretty similar in size
i think roy would jsut have mroe muslc mass

Roy won the HW title...They were the same height but Roy's body was much bigger, he was pure muscle everywhere, and he was big enough to fight at Light Heavyweight/Heavyweight. At middleweight he had damn good speed and I would say he was something close to unbeatable in Super middleweight.
