Brewer and Mitchell were NEVER stars.
But Eubank couldn't of been known over there either because whenever he needed to get away from the spotlight he flew off to the States without telling anybody. He couldn't go anywhere else without being stopped in the street.

So your quoting Roy on something he said on a talk show "sometime in the
      90s" ?
      Sounds like bull****.
And Joe is not Roy's favorite fighter.

Eubank was a relativly well known boxer, he had fought in a few big fights and was known in the boxing world, at least.

He had the highest global viewing figures of any boxer, but in the States he apparently really wasn't known much at all (his fights were on ESPN at afternoon time), correct me if I'm wrong??

As far as Britain is concerned, put it this way - from September 1990 to May 1994, Great Britain saw Chris Eubank's face more than any other face on the planet.. forget about boxing.

It was OFFICIAL that Eubank had the highest global viewing figures of any boxer and by some distance, too. It was documented. And hardly suprising?

              Why should I believe you?
