"The chump has fought taxi drivers his whole career man, once he steps it up he will be exposed, it aint hard to look good when you fight bums your whole career"

    James Toney

"His best win is against a overhyped lacy, apart from jeff there is'nt any fighter of note he has fought in his Career"

    George Foreman

"It's Bernard Hopkins, who is a living legend, versus Joe Calzaghe, who wants to be a living legend. Joe Calzaghe hasn't a track record on pay-per-view, In America hes a nobody"

    Bernard Hopkins

"Calzaghe has defended his title 20 times and is undefeated but if I fought nobodies in my hometown I would look good too, Exceptional fighter but lack of solid opponents.

    O'Neil Bell

"Fighting a middleweight in Bika does'nt help and having a close fight with him regardless of his style certainly does'nt, Lets see him against the likes of Taylor or Kessler then we will know, His biggest win was against Lacy and I already beat him but he got the verdict."

McGuigan always used to hold onto Eubank's nuts, now he does it with The Blow.

Anorak likes Eubank and The Blow.

What do you think of McGuigan, Anorak?

Do you agree with this, Anorak? - "I think the actual reason a lot of the people who supposedly disliked Chris so much disliked him was because nobody likes somebody who has all the talent in the world yet wastes it through, through, laziness - it has to be said, and that was the case of being frustrated with the guy. He frustrated the hell out of me, that's for sure. People had seen in the past that he could execute all the moves and all the punches right from the coaching manual, yet was too.. lazy.. it has to be said, too damn lazy to do things in the ring that we knew he could do, and too damn lazy to do his work in the gym. So we were reduced to flashes, here and there, and that added to the whole frustration. We knew he could look a million dollars when he was counter-punching, and 10 million dollars when he was combination-punching, but the only conclusion I could ever come to really was that the guy was just a lazy guy, it has to be said. Stubborn yes, but a lazy guy was Chris."

What about what an angry McGuigan told a reporter when leaving the second Collins fight? "I did more work in a day than he does in a week!"

I disagree. It was 100% to do with his weight-making.

                  If anything, he over-trained.

                    What about this?

"I think the bottom line is with Chris is that people do read him wrong. He's a good man, and he's good for our sport. They say the people love to hate him (correcting himself) the press love to hate him - but they still write about him, and he's good for our sport. And a lot of the things he says about the game - most fighters feel it, but don't say it."
