tszyu is only out of hes prime because he got beat by hatton , before the fight tszyu was looking very impressive knocking out mithchell twice and everbody and there grandmas gave hatton no chance but because he beat him the way he did tszyu suddenly became old and every1 uses that as there excuse , do i think tszyu was old? yah sure he was 35 but when ricky hatton has bean saying he nos the style to beat kostya for 4 years no not really

Cotto was still green when Floyd was at 140. Hes ready to fight now, and if it happens at 147 I give Cotto a good chance. Im not a Mayweather hater either, I predicted domination in every single one of his fights since Gatti.

Too many people have jumped on the Cotto bandwagon lately when he has beaten absolutely no one. He left 140 without fighting any of the elites there. He has wins against solid fighters, but he has never fought a top 5 fighter at 140 or 147.

What's his best win? Quintana? Quintana's claim to fame is beating Joel Julio and Julio is more suspect than prospect.

Torres? He has power and that's about it. No stamina and can't box that well.

Corley? I can't even give him credit for that win considering the fight was stopped prematurely not too long after Cotto got buzzed.

Let's see Cotto beat someone that matters before people start thinking he can beat all the top dogs at 147...

Overrated because of his Level of opposition, HUH? Name me one WW fighter with 28 fights who has a better resume.

I don;t know if ODLH is shot, but I do know his legs hae a lot of ring milage...and if you tought that Tszyu was remotely close to his prime or even oK to fight Ricky, you are folling yourself...it was a good win for Ricky, no doubt, but one that many put far more into it that I have....and the Maussa fight proof me right and the Collazo fight solidify my theory, I am anxious to see Ricky against young Urango, and heavy hitter and a style perfectly sutied for Ricky...and visversa..

Lets take Cotto for example, as we decided to speak about him, after the Torres fight, majority was claiming cotto as exposed and glass jawed. Now after he beat quintana, majority makes him sound like the next Duran. And really, nothing changed, it was the same Cotto(although some might note that he is fighting in a natural weight for him now, anf thus far less drained)

Cotto won the Torrez fight, for me on his most impressive wins, we usually forget the importance to be able to deal with adversity inside the rings, the ones that are able to do and pull the win are the grreat ones, while the ones taht fail to overcome advesrity are the average boxers....Cotto showed on that fight that he was ready for the big time, he was able to comeback from nearly KO and win by KO, his assimilation, punishement absortion and will came strong to the forefront of that fight, and for anyone that know boxing to say otherwise is ignorant at best.....

In fairness, it doesn't take a whole lot of intellect to tell when a fighter is the real deal or not. **** it, if you want to throw some paper down on Margarito when that fight happens, I'm very much in the market for some non-taxable income. It's an amateur versus a professional.

Whos the amatuer and whos the pro?

If u think Margarito is an amatuer think again. The guy showed his will against clottey and pulled off a win against a guy he was getting killed against. Thats impressive, doesnt even matter that the guy hurt his hand.

And thats the only time ive seen Margarito truly in trouble and gettin beat badly.

I'm really looking foward to COTTO-MARGARITO, not only because its gonna be FOTY 2007, but because Margarito will get to show that it was a fluke, and that he's got plenty of great fights in the bank for boxing fans.

And this is comin from a guy who was disgusted with Margarito askin For mayweather, and sayin he deserved that fight. I am far from a margarito fan.
