Cotto has been a cashcow for so long that Arum could have matched him with anybody. Remember, Arum had Cotto and PBF under contract at the same time and he didn't even think about matching them up because Cotto would have gotten schooled.

I'll admit it im a Cotto "nuthugger"! Hav been since day1! I hear ur point, no elite fighters, true. But for me he beats em all with the POSSIBLE exception of PBF, his resume is very good, overall id say better than a Ricky Hatton who has beat an Elite in Kostya Tzsyu. He has fought very good fighters that merit little reward for sum reason!? But i truely beleive he is gonna go all the way!

No elite fighters, but who is fighting elite fighters anymore? Fighting elite fighters is soooo 1940s anyways. Get with the times!

I think Cotto has been fighting good opponents, like Quintana, Malignaggi, Corley, N'Dou, Sosa. He has solid opposition, much better than Cintron or a lot of the other guys at 147. Compared to Margarito, Cotto's ledger looks like Ray Leonards.

Too many people have jumped on the Cotto bandwagon lately when he has beaten absolutely no one. He left 140 without fighting any of the elites there. He has wins against solid fighters, but he has never fought a top 5 fighter at 140 or 147.

What's his best win? Quintana? Quintana's claim to fame is beating Joel Julio and Julio is more suspect than prospect.

Torres? He has power and that's about it. No stamina and can't box that well.

Corley? I can't even give him credit for that win considering the fight was stopped prematurely not too long after Cotto got buzzed.

Let's see Cotto beat someone that matters before people start thinking he can beat all the top dogs at 147...

Ok. Enlightin me who other than Tzsyu has Hatton been tipped to lose against? Im not havin a dig but as far as im aware thats it, I THOUGHT he was fav over Takie, Magee, Collazo, Maussa ect.? I may be wrong but thats how i thought it was
