i didnt expect a 1 week fill in - "torres" to beat cotto anyway but on such short notice being that he rocked cotto 3 time's and had him in danger is just another fighter exposing that glass chin strap of his.,both torress and chop chop could of knocked out cotto and it's not that cotto recoverd quick enough it's the fact torres and corley were to lack luster and sold to finish him off, so now you have cotto on his rise to fighting swarmer's and great puncher's a notch higher then a chop chop corely or torres, how can cotto handle a insider fighter like ricky hatton? ricky hatton to me is a guy who will catch cotto and wont let him off the hook as easy as most of his his last fight's.,if zab judah come's in the ring 100% against cotto he will knock cotto out no question,shane mosley,floyd mayweather,will easily outbox cotto with the exception to cotto taking a big punch and risking it with one of those marquee is un-realistic because well he has a GLASS HOUSE.

tackie and oliviera was supposed to box hes head off because hattons boxing skills hadnt been showcased yet , after the tackee fight hatton started to get recognision over in the states. the wbo offered ricky the vacant fight with kelson pinto before cotto got it but he was 1 fight away from kostya tszyus mandatory so he opted to fight the final eliminator

That was the old Ricky Hatton who fought this guys. I used to love to watch him fight, he was a great fighter. I think now he's annoying as hell with all the damn clinching, he looked like his old self for 5 rounds against Urango and went back to his new clinching tricks. I think somewhere along Graham noticed Ricky's power wasnt' gonna cut it and neither his deffense against elite fighters and that's why he's been clinching so damn much.

cotto is not overrated. he is a good challenge at welterweight. floyd should fight him before margarito ruins him.

Too many people have jumped on the Cotto bandwagon lately when he has beaten absolutely no one. He left 140 without fighting any of the elites there. He has wins against solid fighters, but he has never fought a top 5 fighter at 140 or 147.

What's his best win? Quintana? Quintana's claim to fame is beating Joel Julio and Julio is more suspect than prospect.

Torres? He has power and that's about it. No stamina and can't box that well.

Corley? I can't even give him credit for that win considering the fight was stopped prematurely not too long after Cotto got buzzed.

Let's see Cotto beat someone that matters before people start thinking he can beat all the top dogs at 147...

Over-rating him would be callin him the next Hagler or somthin, and given him rediculous praise. Cotto is just the second best, if not THE best welterweight right now and he's a favorite if not a competitive match up for everyone in his weightclass.
