    what time did you get up?
    5:00 am

    did you stretch before you run ?
    no, never

    how far did you run?
    3-5 miles cross-country

    what did you do after your run?
    sit-ups in seats of 20 until i reached 200, then i did
    15 mins on the stairmaster. i then had a shower and went to bed

    what did you eat for breakfast ?
    porridge and fruit

    what did you do after breakfast?
    relaxed, and i always watched days of our lives

    what time did you go to the gym
    2:00 pm

    what time did you leave the gym ?
    4:00 pm

    what did you do after training?
    rested my body, then had dinner at 5:30 pm

    what did you eat for dinner?
    steamed veggies and chicken

    what did you do after dinner ?
    watched tv. went for a walk , and i liked to read

    what was your favorite excersize ?
    i loved to box and spar in the gym

    how many days a week did you train?
    six days

    did you have a job before you won the world title?
    no

    shadowboxing 4x 3 min rounds <30 second break after each round >

    focus pads 6 x 3 mins rounds <30 second break after each round>

    sparring and add more sparring, building up the number of rounds: 3=12 x 3 min rounds
    30 second break inbetween rounds

    floor-to-ceiling bag 9 mins

    jumping rope 12 mins

    floor exercises 5x 20 push ups 30 second break after each set

    15x20 sit-ups 30 second break after each set

    jeff always did 500 sit ups over the day each day

                  what time did you get up ?

                  very early , around 5:30 am to run

                  did you stretch before your run?
                  yes, light stretching

                  how far did you run?

                  i ran about 6 miles, which took about 40 mins


                  what did you do after your run ?
                  i did some excercizes , stretching and back
                  home to get washed up

                  what did you eat for breakfast?
                  all natural foods,orange juice and water

                  what did you do after breakfast ?
                  i was always busy with public engagements and
                  news paper people .i loved to meet the people

                  what time did you go to the gym?

                  12:30 pm

                  what time did you leave the gym ?
                  3:30 pm

                  what did you do after training ?
                  i had a rub-down , then washed up . i would maybe talk
                  with the tv people , go out and enjoy myself , then eat.

                  what did you eat for dinner?
                  i always ate good : chicken,steaks,green beans,potatoes,vegtables ,fruit
                  juice and water

                  what did you do after dinner ?
                  i liked to go for a walk , and watch tv

                  what time did you go to bed ?
                  that depended on how i was feeling

                  shadowboxing and jumping rope . i loved gym work /

                  muhamid ali's workout

                  warm up : side-to-sides . torso swivels , jumping around on toes to limber up
                  <15 mins total>

                  shadowboxing : 5x3 mins rounds , working on footwork and speed punching <30 sec break after each round>

                  heavy bag 6x3 min rounds , working on combinations and stamina <30 sec break after each round>

                  sparring : built up sparring as training camp progressed

                  floor excersises : 15 min of excersize <300 in total>
                  sit-ups in bicycling motion
                  sit-ups with a medicane ball
                  leg-raises

                  speed bag : 9 mins total

                  jumping rope : 20 mins < ali always moved around: forward ,backward,mixing it up never staying
                  in the same spot>

                  shadowboxing: 1 min . walking around with light shadowboxing

                  ali did not use weights in his workout
