First of all, can some people stop giving away the ending for the people who haven't seen it yet? Anyways, I loved the movie, my favorite part was when Stallone was having that talk with his son and explained that life is basically like a boxing match, that was a very good scene I thought, and some great acting from Stallone. My only complaint is that Tarver wasn't the physically imposing character that I thought he was going to be, he just looked fat and out of shape. Besides that though, I thought it was the perfect ending to the series, and shows how you change as you get older.

Yeah, i aggree those scenes with his son when Rocky tells him about the real life, that was some great dialoge there, makes one think. And i didn't think Tarver was out of shape, or i didn't notice he was fat and out of shape -but then again, i've added muscle in pounds.Comment

Just got back from seeing it. Pretty freaking good. Rock 1 is still the best. This latest one is a tie for second best in the series for me.
Seeing some of these posts makes me wonder....did you freaking people overanalyze the Matrix too? "There is no way life could actually be a computer program" Nerds. Is that why you hit up the movies....to trash the film when it drifts slightly away from Reality?
Good life lessons, by far the most realistic in the terms of the boxing, enjoy it for what its supposed to be. Put away the note pad you brought to count all the mistakes the movie made and just watch it ya ******.Comment
