The training scenes got me amped. His trainer was funny. "We have to make it feel like he's kissing an express train" or something like that. **** had me rollin. Pauly was hilarious too.Comment

The fight itself was ..well, a Rocky fight, I fully expected that. That quote was a good one. To me, the movie wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Maybe in part because I don't like Tarver. They should have got someone else to play Dixon. Knowing that Tarver was never a HW, let alone the champion, made it less. I can't really say who would have been better as Dixon; James Toney?
how can you even criticize the movie when you have no sense at all?
People are complaining that Tarver was fat.. can you imagine Toney?
The whole point of Dixon was to be bigger (taller) and younger and a loud mouth! not someone who mumbles and cannot form a sentence.
Even thought Toney is only older by 3 month.. Tarver could pass for Toneys son
I think Tarver was really ideal for that role. I mean today, I don't see anyone fit better.
Remember, Stalone agianst Briggs would have looked tiny.. picking Tarver's size was a perfect jobComment

I'd say both. Its a great movie and as a boxing fan I enjoyed seeing the crew of HBO, stats, etc; it seemed like Balboa was a real fighter.Comment
