But does it really give him THAT much more exposure now that the internet exists?

There can't be a dedicated boxing fan who doesn't know who he is.

Yeah, but that's got NOTHING to do with the "*****" issue.
Something I've stated over and over and it's just a fact.

The United States of America is the mecca of boxing. The best fighters make their way here to fight and that's how it's always been.

Calzaghe can't dictate terms because all he does is sit in his backyard. Great Britain is not the mecca of boxing, and it's so far from it.

There's really no dis*****g that. Should Duran have fought every one of his fights in Panama? That would have been ridiculous.

We talk about nobodies like Margarito all day on here and that doesn't change the fact that the average boxing fan has no idea who he is...

Americans might not always have the best fighters but TRUE best fighters will always fight in America.

The best analogy would be baseball. Loads of talent in DR, South America and Japan but the best players will eventually find there way to MLB because thats were the money is.

I'm sure many journeyman and contenders could be champs in there own country for there entire career but if there Camp really thinks they have the stuff they are gonna take the risk and go after the big bucks.

Pac-Man could've been dominating Pinoy's in his home turf and remained a top guy there but Roach and others thought he had the stuff and he has made HUGE bucks fighting the best in the world in America (Even thought they were non-American themselves).

America is to boxing what Rome was to Gladiators.......the BIG SHOW.

I don't care if Miranda is right or wrong. If Calzaghe and Abraham won't fight him, well, fine. I'd be very happy to see a Miranda-Taylor fight...and Taylor is most certainly fine with fighting in the U.S. So, let Joe and Arthur duke it out amongst themselves. I see some very good possible match-ups on this side of the pond, anyway.

Exactly! Screw them if they are to scared to come over here and fight. Honestly, nobody in America give a **** about them anyway (especially Abraham). All the greats are here. We dont need those clowns to make good fights!

Calzaghe is hardly a clown and from all reports will be going to the States to fight Taylor with a bit of luck. They're saying this is his last fight in the UK whatever happens (but did it have to be manfredo?!). Abraham has only just won his belt and Pac Man didnt go over to the States until he'd won and lost a belt and won another won. Lewis fought in Britain at the start of his career and then went over to America after winning a title. Abraham will go to Amercia eventually as long as he keeps winning. And i dont give a **** about Abraham, i'm simply stating a fact. Ricky Hatton's fights are all gonna be in the States now. Bernard Dunne started his career in the states, and had fourteen or so fights there until SRL stopped promoting. The Klitschko's both fought over here. Shiiiiit, Winky Wright fought over here when no Americans would accept that he had talent!! Nas fought all his later fights in the States. At the end of the day, it wouldnt make sense - money wise - to go to the States until you've drummed up enough noise to make more money out there than you do over here.

                  very well said.

And I agree, that if Arthur Abraham was paid more than the $1 Million he made in Germany against Miranda then he would come to the US to fight.

Its quite simple, the man is very much loved in Germany and draws a crowd and puts on a great show as a German Champ (Although he is Armenian )

Because it's the places where you fight and not the ability you possess that makes you a "True best fighter" right?

                    Rofl, comedy.

Some of you need to get your heads out of your own asses, seriously.
