Based on 60+ combined fights for Calzaghe and Abraham, Miranda is right...

I have no problem with them making money in their home countries, but a guy like Calzaghe shouldn't act like he's the **** when he's scared to leave his backyard. He'll only come to the US to fight middleweights and even then he'll still probably try to make those fights happen in the UK...

if a tree falls in a forest that isn't in the United States... do Americans hear it fall?
They don't have trees in other countries, not legitimate trees anyway you liar.

But nah, I already saw the Miranda fight on HBO at a friend's, and was well-pleased with my uncle.

We can't take power away from American TV just because it seems 'unfair' to some people that it is not more evenly spread. That's communistic. I dislike commies and love big corporations.

I'm only messing really, but it's still US-centric to expect Joe Blow to risk fighting in a potentially hostile environment (Actually only 17 of Joe Blow's fights have been in his home country and that includes the Manfredo one) but Taylor to never leave the States. I don't really give a **** about whether HBO are pouring money into boxing to broadcast it, that's an entirely separate issue.

That's what people do to blur the point, they bring in a separate issue. Here, I'll show you.

"Joe Blow's a ***** because he never fights outside his own country" (Though he has done over 20 times).

"So why isn't Jermaine Taylor a ***** when he NEVER fights outside the US?"

"Because [SEPARATE ISSUE IMPLEMENTED HERE] America is where all the big TV corporations, networks and finances are."

Yeah, but that's got NOTHING to do with the "*****" issue.

What I'm saying is, really - why don't these Russkies have a better developed TV station that can globally broadcast fights? Why don't those lazy bastards set it up? Then they can have stratigi to show many purnch, you know? I'm not saying take the US's away, I'm saying develop their own.

Really though as adults, we shouldn't be talking about boxers being "scared" and so on. That belongs in the playground.

Well, the fact is that the U.S. is where all the money and exposure is at. There is a reason most of the big fights happen in the U.S. Lennox Lewis sure wasn't scared to fight in America and he became rich because of it...

I'd take Calzaghe out. He couldn't last 2 rounds with me, ****, I've got 8 amatuer fights. I won Golden Gloves by default. Joe ain't got nothin' on me.

Doesn't Miranda live in Puerto Rico? Didn't he say all his friends and home are in PR? Considering the anti-mainland sentiment down there, maye he should fight there. Anyway, I think AA would be crazy to fight EM again--or anyone for that matter. I watched the EM-AA fight and I had EM winning it, even with penalties applied. As far as JC is concerned, based on the AA fight and other EM fights, I would take JC over EM any day.

Russia is not a communits state. It has elections. ***** is simply consolidating/centralizing * power *, and is probably looking at how East Asian states developed in the 1950s-1970s in doing so. Right now, Russia is growing about 5% a year, along with all of Eastern Europe. Russia has great engineers, and they are employed in East Asia and all over Europe. I am sure eventually they will have better communictaions systems as the country develops. But, remember that developing countries have less a need for leisure (wathcing TV) activities, so those types of sectors are not as developed right now. I am sure you will see plenty of fights from Russia eventually, especially as they continue to kick the crap out of American fighters.

that is normal thing even if you look Augustus v Burton in Michagan and there was hometown boy fighting.

I think Miranda is going to fight in Germany because he knows he is going to KO Abraham for sure. if you have a broken chin it wont grow stronger in month or two and sometimes in a half year depends on the break itself but now Abraham chin becoms more fragili

It isn't a Communist state but its still basically a dictatorship. The Litvinenko affair should make everyone see that (executions without trial of dissidents).
