Hopkins is a bigger name in England than Calzaghe, because there have been documentaries on Hopkins on BBC1 and Sky One thanks to Steve Bunce (whereas Calzaghe's recent documentary was on ITV4).

But in the States, I don't think Hopkins is a big name at all - correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm led to believe he's a no-name who couldn't sell one PPV without De La Hoya.

Hopkins gets more popular each year, it's been like that since the Tito fight, also the bitching he did after the Taylor fight turned him into a superstar! Many young kids love being his fans now!

Right now Hopkins is a huge name in the States, but no one in the States know's who Calzaghe is, if you go ask 1000 people in Times Squre who Calzaghe is, you will be lucky if you find 5 people knowing who Joe Calzaghe is.

If you asked 1000 people in Times Square who Bernard Hopkins was, would you be likely to find one person who knew who he was? If you say yes, leave your bedroom. I'm not buying it.

Boxing hasn't been mainstream in the States since the 80's, it's PPV! I'm sure die-hard boxing fans over there know who Calzaghe is by now, and if they don't they certainly will after the Manfredo fight.

I'm pretty sure 500 out of 1000 people will know who Hopkins is, he's is turing into another Tyson, many kids are becoming Hopkins fans just like Tyson, being an Hopkins fan is the in thing now in the States.

I'm going to leave my bedroom now!

There's a difference between statistics and chance, 50 boxing fans could be at Time Square for any particular reason.

And if all 100 of them were men, your chances have doubled.
