I'm going to leave my bedroom now!
Not that many, no way.. that's 1 in 2, I'd say 1 in 10 would know.

      Do the math. ****ing hell..
Most kids can't afford $50 for a fight, kids know who Hopkins is it's just that they don't have the money to order PPV fights.

And for the internet kids who don't realise, Gunstar is being sarcastic.

This will be true if you ask only women, they only know who Oscar Delahoya is.

If Calzaghe beats Manfredo, he'll be a star in the States I'd imagine and he's then in line for the big American pay-days he's always craved. It's been his goal since 1981 to headline big fights in America (as said in a recent interview, he also said "I don't choose my opponents, it's out of my hands, if I had my way I'd of fought Roy Jones at Madison Square Garden in December 97, if I had my way I'd be long retired right now"), and he's finally in place to do it now.

Anybody who criticises the Manfredo fight, I don't understand. This was advised to Joe and Warren by SUGAR RAY LEONARD - the biggest non-heavyweight boxing name ever in America. You cannot criticise that.

You don't want to mention Hopkins in the same breath of guys like Sugar Ray Leonard and Peter Manfredo - he's a no-name by comparison.

It's true some people know who Manfredo is because the 10 people that watched the Contender know who he is, still the 10 people don't think much of Manfredo.

this is the only hopkins fight i' d be interested in seeing and i don't feel like hopkins is that big of a name out here, even tarver will be bigger once Rocky comes out.

I'd like to see Calzaghe versus either hopkins, taylor or winky esp. hop and winkey, and i haven't seen either one of the fights between those 3 guys live cuz i'm not a big fan. Calzaghe does it for me.

The Manfredo fight will also make Calzaghe a bigger name in England, because Manfredo is more well-known in England than Calzaghe is right now.

Will Cal should be blame for that, not the British fans, I don't live in UK so I really don't know who's the bigger name is in UK but I know that Cal does sell every ticket in his fights, I don't think Manfredo will be able to sell that many tickets in UK.

I'm pretty sure most British fans will be rooting for Cal when he fights Manfredo in UK.
