And by the way, Hopkins didn't dominate nearly as much as HBO thought. You fools always listen to HBO's propoganda. HAHAHAH!!

James Figg had great hand speed ,power and a great chin .
He would most likely beat Tyson by 3rd round ko .

Seriously, so many people want to argue about their take on a fight but are unwilling to go back and watch it again.

There were people on here today who didn't even know Quartey knocked Oscar down in their fight, yet you always have people debating who won that one. People are always saying, "I think I scored it like..." or something along those lines, unwilling to go back and watch the fight (sometimes in slow motion) and back themselves up.

I say if you want to argue about it, you better be willing and able to access the fight and back up your points.

And by the way, you know you're good at scoring fights when you can score it, then watch it in slow motion and end up with the same score you had before. I know, very few people have time to watch parts of a fight in slow motion, but it reveals a lot more than you'd think.

Holy ****! I actually agree with you on something...well, almost.

I think the "slow-motion" option is over the top. If you're an actual judge, you don't have that option to slow down time like your Hiro Nakamura off of "Heroes". Watching a fight in slow motion is cheating IMO. If you're a boxing fan and know boxing, *insert pseudo-mexican movie accent here*....... YOU DON'T NEED NO STINKING SLOW MOTION!

Of course some people, like me, have practically infallable memories.

Other than that...spot on....*mumbles* for once.

Yeah James Figg would beat Foreman also
Figgs jab would over power Foreman and give him a huge points lead . By the mid rounds Foreman will be gassed and knocked out.
                    Figg KO 7 over Foreman

Since you brought up Foreman.....as Liston before him and Tyson after him, they scared there opponets -not all of them of course. The mind game can play a big part in a boxing match. edit; i want to add, somtimes it plays a big part in a boxing match.

I remember one time, my coach took us -the whole boxing team- to sparr at another boxing gym. So one by one my coach and their coach decide whos going to sparr. One of my teammates didn't want to sparr this one guy, that looked a bit bigger then him but was a few pounds lighter then him. He was telling my coach how he don't want to sparr him, how i should sparr him cause i weigh as much as him, but my trainer already had me sparr sombody else. Well, it took a while to convince him to sparr this guy. Well, my coach finally convinced him to sparr this guy and my coach went over to there coach and told him he is willing to sparr him. So now my teammate that was at first scared/worried to sparr this guy is now shadow boxing, and i mean he was just letting his hands go, getting warmed up by shadow boxing. Moving, punching, letting his hands fly. Well, guess what happens....the guy he was suppose to sparr tells his coach that he don't want to sparr my teammate, then my coach tells my teammate that he ain't going to sparr today cause the guy didn't want to sparr after all. My teammate said "why not?" My coach responded, "you scared him while you were shadow boxing." True story. Thats why you hear people say in boxing gyms, "man he looks great on the bag" followed by "but the punching bag isn't hitting back." But the moral of this story is somtimes the fight is already won before either fighter even steps into the ring.
