It's a real famous quote; but it's a pretty old movie, so you may never have seen it. I meant no offense...I just didn't know how else to describe it on a computer forum.
I've heard people use "pesude Mexican" still not sure what it means, but i know you ment no wrong.

By "pseudo-Mexican" I mean...an American director's interpretation of what a person from Mexico's accent would sound like if they spoke English.

It's a nice way of saying stereotyping. I guess I should have said a "stereotypcial" Mexican accent.

i bet against Cotto, not margarito, infact if you research the prediction thread, i thought margarito would knock clottey out because clottey gasses out late in the few fights ive seen him in and i was wrong. I almost bet that the margarito/clottey fight wouldnt go 12 rounds, if i would have , i would have lost.

Imo, Clottey didn't run out of gas is because he was on defence most of the time. He was in a calm defensive shell almost all through the fight. He didnt even try to go to Margarito body and stay on top of him with his body attach which i expect from him. Had he not broke/sprained his hand he would have opened up leaving himself open for clean shots to land from Margarito. If you noticed Margarito doesn't always throw power shots, cause he's smart, he's saving his energy but still putting punchs out there for his opponet to stay on defence then when his opponet opens up, bam, with force comes a hard shot. Imo, thats how he keep Clottey on defence most all fight long, i don't think Clottey knew where the punchs were coming from and which punch had the power in it to hurt him. So Clottey stayed on defence and lasted the 12 rounds. He really wanted his corner to stop the fight, but as a warrior he fought on. Imo, it was a good showing, Margarito always seems to improve from fight to fight.

That is truly sad if we saw an improved Margarito. If he actually looked worse in previous fights, then he was a huge embarrassment. From the fights I've seen of Margarito he looked exactly the same except this time he was in against a guy who you could almost call a B level fighter. and it showed.

Sorry but if Margarito was smart, as you say he is, then he would understand that boxing starts with the jab and he would work on it for the next few months before his next fight.

Keep hating, his style doesn't work for everybody. But it gets the job done, and i personally would like fighters to pick up a few thing from Margaritos style. 1. that instead of looking at each other waiting for one or the other to throw a punch so the other can counter, Take a page from Margaritos style and throw punch out there as he does with it be a jab or right hand. You may not see the way Margarito sets up an opponet but i do, you just have to see his fight more often to pick up on the things he does in there. 2. not every punch has to be a hard punch to set up another punch or the ko punch, taken from the Margarito book of boxing. Theres a lot more.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if the Margarito Style catches on. Personally, I'm a big fan of the tried and true classic style. You know, jabs, head movement, speed, counter-punching, footwork. Seemed to work for guys like Ali, SRL, B-Hop, RJJ, PBF, etc. Lets see how many guys become among the best ever by throwing wild hooks and hoping their opponent is still there when the punch finally arrives.
