Yeah, Ouma hasnt shown much power, nothing WInky hasnt tasted before and shrugged off. Ouma's KO record is almost exclusively older fighters past their prime or noobs. Ouma's pretty busy, but Winky reacts to what you give him and rises his workrate just enough to win, so I doubt Ouma would be the guy to bring Winky down.

Winky's defense and unique style make him very difficult to land clean punches on. He never really commits to hard punches where he has the chance to be countered by a big punch. That being said here is what I think the way to get to him is. Firstly, you have to be the bigger man...if Winky is the bigger fighter its over before it starts. Check the fights with Mosley, Trinidad, and Quartey and its clear that when Winky can be physically imposing you just can't get to him. Secondly, like it has already been mentioned, you have to be more active than him which means you must be in great shape. Taylor and Soliman were both fairly effective with their high volume attacks but it must be sustained. Thirdly, keep your hands high so that you are not a target for the left jab because that is how Winky sets up his attack. Fourthly, work the body early and hope this causes him to drop his hands somewhat later in the fight.

Mayweather had to switch because he breaks his hands in every fight he wears Reyes...he used to where them and Everlast, but had to change.

Mayweather is slick as hell and dodges punches more than anything.

Also, Floyd showed good power down in the lower weight classes, and still has some pop, so do you really think Floyd wouldn't want to where the Reyes?


Think about it, he changed from "Winning" gloves to "Grant" for the Badly fight, in my opinion, it was because "Grant" still protects your hands, though a down grade from "Winning", but unlike "Winning", "Grant" will allow for a little more Power...this was most likely to get some respect from Baldy...but, look what happened when Floyd changed gloves and didn't have the hand protection from "Winning", he ****ed up his hand again.

This is also why Oscar is making him where "Reyes"

With all that time you spent in Juniata I know you wouldn't think to fight in the street with a style like Winky's.

Not unless you want to get ****d...also, the first thing they teach you in fighting, its always better to walk away, that or run away...if you have to fight, remember, there are no rules.
