So... it's a natural, conceivable thought for Manfredo, whom I consider BETTER than Bika, to give Calzaghe a good fight.

The thing is, Joe Blow has already beaten BETTER than Kessler. But back then people didn't rate Joe Blow, so they didn't feel the need to boost up the rep of his opponents in order to discredit him.

If the Lacy fight had happened earlier, then we would have been hearing about The Blow ducking Tocker Puddwell or whatever his ****ing name is.


I don't see the problem with sucking on the Blow's **** a little, as long as it's within reason. Maybe just get a bit of pre-cum out, without letting him shoot his full load, you know what I mean?

Considering this is a forum where every day I seem to read someone saying that Gayleather is a better boxer than Sugar Ray Robinson because "he didn't even look close to losing against Carlos Baldomir" (c. Manfredo is more skilled than bika, but i think bika is tougher / stronger. i know people will hate me for saying this, and i don't care, manfredo does have chance against calzone if he uses his boxing skills and doesn't go looking for one big shot. no one is gonna one shot JC. manfredo will have to take Blow into deep water, where he slows down and becomes hittable, even then it's a tough, tough fight for manfredo.

i hope the talk about Blow fighting mora next is bull****.. there's no reason for Blow to fight sergio mora, mora is a c level calzaghe

All joking aside, I feel Calzaghe might need a bull**** fight to deflate his head a bit. It seemed to me he fought Bika thinking he was amazing. He clowned around like he was in a music video for the first half of the fight. He almost got himself in real trouble. He needs to fight a journeymen to put him back in place....have everyone doubt him, and give him something to prove again.

I don't agree with that. With respect, i think that Calzaghe has had enough B/S fights and at this stage of his career he needs to be fighting top fighters, which is a catergory that Peter Manfredo doesn't fit into at the moment IMO.

I really don't see what Cazaghe gains from the fight with Manfredo. If he wins people will say that he beat a guy that was nowhere near ready to fight him, and if he happens to lose then people will claim that maybe his time is up.

Sakio Bika should have been the preparation for Joe to go on and fight the likes of Kessler, but as you've stated, things didn't go exactly according to plan against Bika. Calzaghe grossly underestimated Bika IMO, and whether he does this against Manfredo i don't know. What i do know is that he would never underestimate a supposed top fighter and that is when you'll see the best of Joe Calzaghe.
