taylor has lost his last 3 fights imo
Where do you have Jermain Taylor in the P4P List?

He actually isn't on my list. He doesn't deserve it.
Who did he ever beat before Hopkins? Hopkins gave Taylor his shot and Taylor really didn't deserve it, but Hopkins never ducks anybody and wanted to prove it.
IMO Taylor didn't win either of those fights and he definitely didn't win against Winky.
Anyone who says that did not watch that fight. As a plain boxing fan, you can't argue the concubox numbers, winky landed as many power shots with more accuracy, and totally dominated with the jab, the jab count was not even close. Taylor did land some good shots, which surprised me that he was able to get through Winks defense, but he never controlled the fight. He backed up into the ropes.
You get points in boxing for these things:
Landing shots (cleanly, power, or just shot count)
Defense
Ring Generalship
Well, Winky won all 3 of those categories. Taylor got basically tatood at a high percentage, indicating a lack of defense. He maybe was never hurt, but that goes back to landing an accumulation of punches.
Taylor really needs to show me something. Ever since he got the middleweight titles he acts like he is just afraid to lose it and doesn't want to go put it on the line.Comment

To be fair, he DID **** my mum. She said he was a great shag, though he faded down the stretch and was a little inexperienced.Comment

Hilarious! LMAO.
Yeah, I was just re-watching Taylor-Hopkins II. WTH. Taylor didn't show me crap. I'm sorry, Bernard was such a great champ, I don't see how they could have robbed Bernard the first time.
A young man, with all the physical talent and ability but a lack of guts. He just isn't willing to go get what belongs to him and that is sad.
Hopkins basically outlanded him the last 7 rounds and lost, how ridiculous.
Go out there and win it for god sakes. All that training, all that sparring. To sit there and just "look good" in the ring. Be a warrior. You say boxing is your life, then go out there and have boxing say it for you. Have boxing say what you can't about your life.Comment
