I would love to see this fight.

Calzaghe would punish Hopkins for all the boring fights he's had whenever I've watched him. I can't stand him. Infact I hope Calzaghe hurts him - BADLY.

Lets not get carried away though. The fight wouldn't be for at least the best part of a year, by which time Hopkins could have been put in a retirement home.

No one was scared of Hopkins. It's just that middleweight was average while he was champion. Taylor stepped up to him and beat Hopkins with his amateur style and absolutely no experience. Taylor happens to be the first good fighter he fought that was a true middleweight...

This would be a great fight, and I think Calzaghe will win it by UD.

"Anyone can beat a champion. Very few can beat a legend."

          Great words from Hopkins.

There'd be no track meet because Calzaghe cuts off the ring pretty well. He'd get clocked with the looptie-loop right hand coming in though. The only thing is, Calzaghe never stops throwing punches....it's crazy.
            Hopkins doesnt brawl.

this would be a great fight! Joe C has never fought anyone as experienced and DIRTY might i add as B-Hop. I bet you B-Hop will have Joe C bleeding on cuts due to punches and maybe a head butt or too!

I could go on, but I have no idea where the "first good fighter" even came from. Just about everyone had Hopkins winning the first fight and the second fight barely had any action at all. A young undefeated Olympian that was being built as the next star was barely able to beat an old 40-year-old fighter.

We're saying that The Nuff Tumper and Glen Monson are good names for a resume now? I won't mention China Chops considering that's an "L" on Slopkin's register. (Four childish nicknames in two sentences? That's a record)

I am interested in this fight though... I'd say this is a genuine 50-50 fight, I can see the Slop pulling this out, befuddling Blow by leaping in and out with the nut.

You forgot about the "good fighter" part.
People also dont realize Taylor had 23 fights, and was very inexperienced. Beating Hopkins was a great achivement, seeing as Hopkins hadnt lost since 93. Dont try and downplay Taylor's achivements.
