    Your name is shortsight, right?

Man, listen. The offer to Marquez for the Pacquiao rematch was an insult. They were offering Marquez only a hundred grand more and he was still champion. As opposed to what Pacquiao was getting. No fighter worth his salt would accept any bull**** like that and it goes to show you how well Arum was looking out for Marquez that he was willing to accept that ****.

With that offer rejected, you look at your options and take what's available. As it happened, the IBF had stripped Marquez and John was the WBA champion because of more bull****. So Marquez wanted to retain a grip on his last remaining title. The money was what it was; nothing could be done about it. Nobody figured that Marquez would get robbed.

            How's Pac ducking JMM?

Pac is one of the top P4P fighters in the world and he has alot of options, him wanting to fight Barrera does not constitute as ducking JMM.

Pacquiao won't duck anyone. I do think that Barrera is as capable as Marquez of outboxing Pacquiao, which is obviously the way to go.

I do think that Freddie Roach should shut up and get on with the business of training Pacquiao. He's in Manny's ears and of course, he'll have his own agenda.

750k would have been his biggest payday. at that time he was very capable of beating pac opening more doors for him in the process. he wont have that advantage now.jmm is on the decline. he's very lucky to get 750k to fight pac now.

That doesn't change the fact that it was an insult for them to only offer that much in contrast to what they offered Pacquiao and how much HBO were going to take from it.

These are just the facts of what happened then and that's the issue here.

Now is a different story. Marquez would probably take less now, but he didn't have to then.

obviously pac was a bigger draw if they offered that kind of money to him and he is the bigger draw.
