Im implying this obviously NOT to regulars of the sport. Im saying i hope everyone looks to their prospects afterwards and dont just abandon the sport when pac leaves it.

your post is kinda ignorant...not the poster...

i've been following boxing since 1978...i was only 7 yrs old then.

if PAC fades, a lot of Filipino Contenders will take his place... probably will even surpass his achievements.

i luv boxing. if there's a boxing match on TV, its good!

i have been on boxing messageboards since about 1997 at least participating in the discussion of it, never in my life have i seen a pinoy community, ever, until about 2003, while it would be foolish to assume that filipinos are only into boxing because of pac, its foolish to think that this board doesnt have the high filipino population that it does because of pac. do you understand? that is who i am directing the post too.

"with a guy like pac, a defeat in brutal fashion doesnt just damage him, but an entire country, and you had better be ready for the backlash on all your favorite internet stops when it happens. "

PAC's brutal defeat will damage an entire country? thats the reason y i said ur post is kinda ignorant....

i assume this because of my own pain from seeing roy jones get floored in round 2 of the tarver fight. i can honestly say that **** hurt deep down, its just a boxing match, but it hurt. If it hurt me, i could imagine what a national hero going down hard like that could bring. at the least, for a day or two, i dont think thats ignorant at all. because ive been there before.

Maybe u've forgotten...EM beat PAC during their first match. I watched it live in Vegas...Win or lose Filipinos stand by their heroes!!! Everyone rally behind PAC after his defeat and in fact he still received a heroes welcome when he went back home and paraded around Manila like he won the fight!!!

....Pac wasnt floored and didint get up, and i never said he would be abandoned, your constantly putting words in my mouth, the whole..entire..full point of this post is that you should enjoy pac in his prime (which all of you are) while hes in it and do what you are all doing now and make the most of it before its over is my point. the EM loss is not the same as the loss i compared it to, to my fav fighter roy jones, you see what im saying?

one of those knockouts was a blatant low blow, that fight was rediculous.
