As a Pinoy, I've been following boxing since Joe Frazier took on Ali for the first time. Course....I had to wait a week to see the fight as it was closed circuit. I cried when Ali lost. Damn.

Lets not forget the Mall in the Philippines named after Ali after the Thrilla in Manila. Also in 1964, Anthony Villenueva (sp?) was the first to bring in the silver medal to the Philippines from the Olympics in Boxing.
