Jai Opetaia is very ELITE. I think Opetaia is by far the best fighter in the Cruiserweight division and will also become a Heavyweight Champion and he is only 28.

    Opetaia is the future.

I like him as well, but I want to see him against someone else besides Briedis and a queue of second and third-class opponents before releasing my sentence.

Pretty much this. Not sure he beats Zurdo. We’ll see.

        Opetaia would easily beat Zurdo.

I am not even sure he beats Beterbiev, if Beterbiev moves up.

CW is a weak division. HW is the best division. Whilst he is the best CW, he'd not even be top 20 at HW, where the likes of Wardley, who would destroy him, are ranked. Nash out - His Excellency

Yeah, I think he can pick up a trinket.

Do I think he'll be Usyk?

No, but I could see him picking up the WBO belt or something

I didn't realize until the last fight just how lean he was, so it could be possible...who knows?

He's def the best guy at CW though.

Still way too soon in my opinion.

Even though I was very high on Usyk it took him actually fighting the fights at heavyweight (even then the Witherspoon and Chisora fights were a little uninspiring) to see how he would fair.

I personally don't believe Opetaia is as good as Usyk was. As of now the only way I see Opetaia getting a heavyweight strap is through political maneuvering where he can get a very favorable match up.
