id say it was below average, he really didn't like getting hit and fought like it. Whenever he got tagged bad is effected him or he was stopped.

He didnt have a glass jaw though, like many heavyweights today, but it was below average.

Yes the way he reacted to punches always reminds me of Klitchko.

Boxing fans are some of the funniest when it comes to "chins". Even if you get stopped in only 2 of your 40 fights, you get called a "glass chin". Amir Khan is one example of the first sentence- Maidana couldn't drop him once, despite throwing all he had at Khan, but he dropped Adrien Broner twice with a single punch, yet Khan has "no chin". Its quite sad what Boxing fans have to say about fighters who they don't neccesarily like.

No Lennox Lewis has no glass chin. Being stopped in only 2 of 40 fights shows no indication of any "glass chin".

Solid chin. Briggs unloaded his best and lewis took him out. Also vitali hit him with some brutal shots.

            His durability was solid.

Neither Rahman or McCall was able to knock him spark out completely 'Fair enough he was knocked down, but was still getting up from those punches etc'.

Buster Douglas, Danny Williams and Calvin Macrbride all punch harder and have better chins than Tyson.

              DEAL WITH IT 😎

Mercer, Vitali, Tua and several other top heavy punching heavies would definitely say no. No one with a straight face could see the kind of bombs that Vitali unloaded on him and claim he had a weak chin. I always thought the MCcall fight was stopped prematurely, and Rahman was known as having heavy hands.

Lennox was massacred by two mediocre fighters bro. 😄

Mercer is a bum though. Tyson would be a better example

Definitely no where near bum. He was a legit heavyweight champion, gave Lewis one of his hardest fights, gold medalist, had solid wins and was one of the toughest heavies out there. His problem was training/discipline. How could you call Mercer a bum, yet credit Lewis's win over an ancient Tyson as evidence? Mercer would've destroyed that version of Tyson that Lewis fought with ease.
