A hard to define question as he was twice Ko'd based off one big punch. These are heavyweights and if you fight enough, odds are you're getting stopped. Fans really don't understand how hard some of these guys hit. I suggest holding heavy bag for one of them in the gym ( Thumbs in ). You'll see. Good chins are uncommon.
With Lewis, you could argue his ego was as big of an issue as his chin. I think his chin was suspect to power punchers, and his recovery ability was below par. The trouble was getting to it. Lewis was an excellent boxer at any range, had a reach advantage ( 84" ) and really did not gas, plus he hit a ton.
Chins are best graded when landed upon, NOT based on who you fought. For example Tua was certainly a puncher, but what did he land on Lewis? See my point?
