The Golota of the Bowe fights vs prime Frazier
Andrew Golota vs Joe Frazier

Frazier could beat Golota using chi... He would look hard at golota the energy from his eyes would cause Golota a mental breakdown.
The physical fight would be immaterial. Im only half kidding... Seriously? Golota would not last 3 rounds with any version of Frazier that fought professionally. Golota has all the skills to make it a fight but none of the heart, toughness, and the pace would freak him out.
Frazier and marciano at first glance can be put in the Dempsey Tyson catagory... but there is a difference. Neither man had the punch of a dempsey, but both were literally relentless. Golota has lapses... Big problem. You can't take a break fighting Frazier. You lapse you are hit. -

I do like talented underachiever vs great fighter matchups but stylewise it favours Frazier.
I know you say prime Golota, but can't think of anybody short with head movement he faced in his prime. When he faced Tyson though they were both past prime and Tyson was ducking between punches Golota was flailing and missing him, he was rushing and not picking his shots well.
I actually watched Golota vs Sanders this morning, good fightComment

Frazier was close to the ideal heavyweight size of 6', 200 lbs. The foul Pole was too big to be an ATG, although he was always good for a few rounds. Just looking at him, you would think there goes an awfully smart man. He certainly was beautifully pale, but a tad too big to make a great heavyweight. All the great heavies zero in on 6', 200 lbs. That's history. The big boys are scared to death of 6', 200, believe me. That is why they fight only the biggest guys they can find. Notice it.Comment
