Of course Mayweather has had to jump back into the limelight again as well. From now on he will have competition in the field of freak matches, and will have to make his own matches more interesting, unless he wants to be outdrawn by nobodies who have guts, by buggery.
By buggery indeed. Be sure to let us know when The Cleveland Steamer and Luigi Lugnuts have their next fight.

Unfortunately, animal vs man matches will probably be outlawed. Tug of wars between men and animals would not be illegal, however, if that is the best we can get.
Rome did it first... Caligula in a desperate attempt to feed the growing blood lust of the citizenry, started importing exotic animals to fight against the gladiators, then against each other... eventually? it went to epic proportions... the coloseum would be filled up with water, boats would be placed, naval battles would commence.

Even mythical matchups are a type of freak match.

You boys realize that ******s have opened up the possibility of a whole new genre of combat entertainment, like a blessing. ****** matches and mixed ****** matches are sure to ignite social frenzy. A whole new level of matchmaking becomes available. You will know the era has officially launched with the first big ****** match. Mayweather is usually ahead of the curve. His next opponent has to be a great big ****** who brains men for breakfast. That would break all records. Agreed?

The world's two strongest women is a natural matchup, once the boys have settled their issue in September. That match will have to come about.

Holyfield keeps hooting that Holyfield/Tyson III is all but a done deal, which had ought to generate $100 million in revenue.

I would much rather see these two have it out under old time cage rules, since neither of them knows much, and we already know Holy is the superior fighter under Marquis of Queensbree rules. Let the boys rassle. If we have to suffer through their "show," at least try to make it entertaining for us. Let them kick and scuffle. They can endure being guffawed at for $33 million apiece.

Oscar has been itching for a fight. He says he wants an actual ranked opponent and not some YouTuber, but we'll see how that plays out.

Hoya misses those quick millions. He probably makes a few hundred thousand off the shows he promotes and then has to pay staff out of that.

The big ****** matches are just over the horizon, boys. They are here just in time to rescue combat sports from the doldrums. A ******'s got to make a living after all, and what could be more entertaining than serious ****** freak matches? Their kind will eventually be excluded from organized sports against women anyway, or have them all in wheelchairs. But freak matches were made for them.

Big, fresh ******s against tiny men is, of course, of great interest to all. The lineup of good opponents for well trained ******s stretches around the block out of sight, lads. Keep those operations coming, and we fight fans will keep our buns crossed, by buggery.
