Don’t talk out your ****ing ass...Duran only when he beat Iran Barkley was again a fighter that could be sold as a viable opponent for leonard.
If your gonna try and talk about the 4 kings with me at least know the history.
Duran lost all his major fights from 1982 to 1988 and Yet Leonard avoided giving him another shot according to you.
Had nothing to do with the fact Duran lost to hagler in 1983 , hearns in 1984 , Simms 1986 and never boxed for a world title till 1989 in Iran Barkley and coincidentally straight after leonard boxed him.
From December 1980 to 1982 ...Duran went awol . Lost to Benitez and Laing and yet it’s Leonard’s fault why Duran never got a rematch.
Know your history son we are on the history section
Since you're 110% committed to fa.gging this place up with your SRL obsession, can you explain why Leonard never made good on the claim he made after defeating Hagler - that he would return to win the Light Heavyweight belt the next year?

He seems to concede Hearns won their rematch... why not grant him a rubbermatch?

Why did he make Donny Lalonde cut to SMw to fight him?

Why did he get beat up on the inside?

Yup he sure is... and he gets a pass because we have been told "don't feed the trolls" which becomes a license for "Rusty" to say the most outlandish things. It is a form of bullying and false bravado that is left unchallenged.

I try to expose what an idiot he is so there is a record of it on the threads. I like this section and I hate when people use it as a toilet bowl lol.

yeah I like open honest debate and if I see something I believe is not correct I will call someone out on it and I expect the same with me not this buffoon tromboni who talks absolute waffle and has no credible information.
The reason why I said ray leonard because in his prime he is the only fighter I have known to literally beat every single style in his career and he beat all time greats while doing it.
That’s jut my opinion of course bill

I followed SRL entire career amateur and Pro. Their is no denying his greatness. He was a great boxer, excellent puncher to either head or body, ultra quick hands, ultra quick feet, tough, killer instinct, tremendous will to win. I actually was no huge fan but if you look back upon all the great fighters the past 50 years Ray checks more boxes that any other in terms of the attributes that make a fighter great.

Also Lomanchenco has no business being on any best of the best lists. He has had only 15 pro fights. Wait until the book has been written about a fighter (career is over/nearly over) before you jump to final conclusions.

SRR could knock you dead with one punch from either fist. Take a look at his one punch ko of Graziano as one nice example. Deadly and a thing of beauty.

Well... he just exposed himself lol. I have no reason to debate him further. I have no problem with someone "not knowing" something. But when you argue key points and cannot take 5 minutes to see the definition of "cutting the ring off" and argue, all the while not knowing what you are arguing about, and then blowhard to the other person... well to me? that tells me that person is not informed and not worth my time.

I had put Leonard down as a choice as well... He is indeed a natural choice. he was a fantastic fighter and was very lucky to be in a weight class, and at a time when he could really fight some other ATG fighters.

I don't know if there is anyone else who deserves to be on the list. I try to run through some names in my mind (Monzon, Gans, Holyfield, Ali, Napoles, heck Crawford) and they all seem to come up less 'complete'. But maybe I am missing someone.
