Why did you say that Rahman said Toney schooled him? As if he were admitting that he felt he lost.

This is what I’m talking about when it comes to Toney, it’s fantasy after fantasy.

The fact of the matter is Toney did not “school” Rahman in any capacity what so ever, a close either way fight was called a draw which was a more than fair decision.
no Dan... "this" is not what you are "talking about." You seized on a great opportunity! I saw something, some interview piece, or something, that may have been with another fighter JT fought, and you were correct that this post fight interview was not that piece of footage... Its a good "gotcha" and little else as I assure you that fans of JT are not in the habit of claiming such interviews.

You have to be kidding if you gave that fight to Rahman... Toney threw the cleaner punches, countered everything Rahman threw, etc. But again... its not objective and I am not getting into one of these ****** tit for tats...

I rant a lot about Mike Tyson but I can freely admit that he irks me because of his behavior in and out of the ring, and what he represents in the worst type of boxing fans and is worshipped for. Two things though, 1-I talk about many boxers and 2-I don't go out of my way to zero in on Tyson because he is THE most talked about boxer here, I couldn't avoid him if I tried so to speak.

I can see why the gentlemen here say they could never figure out what Toney did to you, how he hurt you.
Since I started posting here I have learned that the definition of a fact as "an objective, irrefutable piece of evidence" is dead wrong! In fact? (pardon the pun...) according to many posters here a fact is "an opinion that I really think is right!!" I am in talks with Webster to get it right the next edition of the dictionary put out.

That fight was a disaster and the judges robbed that poor man.

Not a “gotcha” moment at all. You made a statement that I had no memory of and which I considered to be extremely unlikely considering the facts. So I looked it up and as I expected it wasn’t true. Which is a reoccurring theme of Toney’s Internet fanbase.

You were mistaken and that’s fine. It happens. We’ve all done it.

I’m just glad it’s cleared up.

As for the fight, yes I do absolutely think Rahman won. I’m in not alone in that. But I wouldn’t argue with Toney winning obviously. I think a draw was a fair result.

How can you honestly say that isn’t objective?

I honestly believe Hammy was losing sleep last night over this. I just picture him laying in his bed thinking over and over in his head like "Rahman couldn't have said that about Toney could he? Impossible!" Untill you confirmed that it was an honest mistake, now he can rest easy again.

Untill the next time we discuss someone complimenting James Toney. Then we'll have another meltdown. Over nothing.

I go to sleep watching Roy Jones Jr. fights. Oh!

Better yet, I go to sleep like Roy Jones Jr. when he fights. Ohh!

You taking shots at anyone for being "obsessed" about a fighter is hilarious, Mr. Mike Tyson hater.

Tell us again how Tyson is only popular with weed smokers. How well is that statement holding up for you these days?

No he's mostly popular because of his slang, remember kid?

Like I said Tython is overexposed in every section on this site unlike James Toney. If I had Hammy's dedication for my Tyson hate I would average hundreds of posts a day.

This post is objective... If a fight is close and some saw it one way others another... a draw is a compromise.
