Marciano vs the following opposition

You all made me go watch the Baer-Schmeling fight.
Boy Baer was a dirty fighter, throughout. Schmeling looked ineffective most of the time.
What was strange was the manner in which Arthur Donovan handled the 10th round knockdown.
He spent little to no time looking at Schmeling but seemed fixated on the time keeper's count.
Doesn't seem to actually pick up the count but instead lets the time keeper count. It is possible he does give Schmeling some verbal count, but never adds in the customary wave of the arm.
But a good stoppage!
NAC 467.740 Procedure for counting; knockdown; knockout; technical draw. (NRS 467.030)
1. When an unarmed combatant is knocked down, the referee shall . . . audibly announce the passing of the seconds, accompanying the count with motions of his or her arm, with the downward motion indicating the end of each second.

Everything he told you is an accurate description. Yeah he embellished it, seasoned it with a little left hook essence, but his views are in conformity of people who trained Marciano and others, and even those who did not think much of him. Mainly: marciano was indeed deceptive. Marciano had that extra gear, and if you watch tape where boxing experts analyzed marciano's work, one can see that his he could suddenly overwhelm when he needed to do so.Comment

You can figure it out...Ill tell you how: Take the gum out of your mouth, thus freeing up a few more brain cells, look at a few tapes of Marciano, and instead of posting innanities? read up on what people have said about Marciano, both negative and positive. Learn something! Really win!Comment

You must know that bauer himself thought Louis was all over him... He said as much to his corner Rusty, look it up..When coming back to his corner they encouraged him and told him "Louis was not hitting him" at which point it is documented he said: " Well then guys, you better watch the ref because he is beating the crap out of me." Look it up!
Marciano aborted his comeback against Ingo.... so, using your logic, I should just say Marcianos beats NONE of these fights because at the thought of facing a live opponent with a real punch turned him yellow ... or "yeller" I suppose is how he'd say it.
So yeah, if we're taking the deteriorated versions of Baer and Schmeling... at least they could get their asses into the ring. Unlike Marciano, who quit after gighting Archie Fookin Moore... that's right ARCHIE MOORE FOUGHT FOR THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. How sh.tty must that era have been?
And to get decked by Moore... wow. Some hips that feller from brawwwkton had.Comment

We all know that you read quips of Boxing history. What we'd like is for you to review the film and research the context.

Rusty you do not base a premise on a negative. If Marciano had fought Ingo we would have a different conversation. its like me saying you must not like steak because you chose to cancel a reservation at a steak house. See the problem?
I don't care what version one is talking about for Bauer and Schmelling. There is no reason to believe either man could give trouble to Marciano. Ghost broke it down for you.Comment

Yeah it is a contest with a judging panel...we already established that remember? want another prize for participation? Go to the table and take another... be my guest.

If irony killed that post would be a WMD.
Baer was lethal. Marciano was not. Marciano never even fought anyone as good as Shaaf.
Baer fought a prime Louis. Marciano did not.
Baer could get himself into the ring with two broken hands to fight prime Louis. Marciano was retired by Moore, and couldn't manage a comeback against Ingo.
And where do you get off comparing Louis to Marciano!? If you wanna pkay appeal to the masses, no one has EVER compared Louis and Marciano.... at least not anyone who's ever watched them, or Boxed himself.Comment

Rather than assuming why Marciano stopped fighting read about it, there are many sources that describe, in detail the personality of marciano.
