Yes wrong words used on my end.
I don't think I called him a racist; but it looks to many that I did.
I still feel what I said is true in its limited definition of being a 'white fighter hater.' That was not meant to say he was a was a racist, it was to say that I believe he has a deep prejudice against white fighters from that era. (Not towards all white people; hell I have no clue what race T even is, but now I think I got it figured out.)
He is one of those fans that has turned the Holy Three (McVea, Langford, Jeannette) into lesser gods. I have know several white guys who have done that and they are no less annoying than T.
There is a constant, relentless argument that comes from him that all white fighters of that era were second rate to the black fighters and all the white fighters of that period were duckers.
BTW I never used the word racist;
But by the time he got done replying it was the only word on the table.
I am not trying to play semantics with you, but I did literally mean he was being a 'hater' only towards white fighters of that day.
I don't feel in my gut that I want to retract that statement.
Sorry.
But definitely recognize that I used the wrong words at my end.
The typical straw man argument creates the illusion of having completely refuted or defeated an opponent's proposition through the covert replacement of it with a different proposition (i.e., "stand up a straw man") and the subsequent refutation of that false argument ("knock down a straw man") instead of the opponent's proposition. Straw man arguments have been used throughout history in polemical debate, particularly regarding highly charged emotional subjects.
Better get used to it with that kid. It's his favorite logical fallacy he uses while arguing endlessly and never budging an inch.
I hope you're in this argument for the long haul, since he sure as hell is.
Btw, he's never been on wrong on any point he's ever argued on this forum. Over 20K posts of endless arguing, and not wrong even once.
Don't believe me, just ask him.
Ask him to cite just one instance of him ever arguing a point back and forth and then conceding it.
Mark my words, he can't do it.
He can insult me all he wants. He can post walls of text with double-speak and circular logic, but what he can't do it cite just one instance of himself saying "You know, I was wrong on this."
He just can't do it.Comment

A straw man (or strawman) is a form of argument and an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while actually refuting an argument that was not presented by that opponent. One who engages in this fallacy is said to be "attacking a straw man".

But that was easy. Ask him if he was runner up for worst lounge poster of the year
Then ask him if he and one of his friends made up an elaborate lie about me sending them private messages, even going so far as using Javascript to create an imitation of a private inbox, then challenged me to a permanent ban bet over it, and I exposed their scheme by outsmarting the two idiots into exposing their plot and got his friend permanently banned
Since then, he's been my biggest fan
It's not that I'm never wrong, son. It's just that I'm never wrong when I talk to you.Last edited by travestyny; 03-30-2020, 09:32 AM.Comment

Other interesting thing is right after I'm done checking the forum here, I'll be looking at a review of the first Starrcade in 1983, which was I believe was Flair's first title win and the whole Flair For The Gold campaign, where he beats Harley Race for the title. That also became the name of Ric Flair's interview segment in the 90s, which Brian Pillman later parodied calling if Flare for the Old.Comment

Damn dude, I sit corrected. Maybe I was thinking of something Bobby Heenan said instead then. More people should just admit when they're proven wrong. It would make life much easier. Funny thing too now is leading up to this year's Wrestlemania, Rhea Ripley mentioned she wanted to be the woman by beating the woman because she's taking on Charlotte Flair. Just won't be the same without an audience. I heard the arena in Tampa had a capacity of about 100,000. Supposedly they already recorded the show and are going to show it next weekend on the WWE Network online Saturday and Sunday night. But it's like a DVR recording now, where once it's over, you can play it back at your leisure. It might even be free for now because of this whole Corona Virus. Anyway, should be a hell of a match. I remember Ric was there afterwards when his daughter won her first title, which was pretty cool, I just saw that on youtube this week, very emotional for both of them.

I'm going to youtube his daughter now to check out what kind of wrestler she is. I can't imagine it would be as easy for them working with no audience for the same reason Lebron didn't want to do it. The fans really get you pumped. Without them, it just won't be the same I think. Would be odd to not hear the crowd's reaction to everything.Comment

LMAO@ Flair for the old. Hysterical. I do miss the old days with regards to wrestling. As I got older, it seemed it entered the era of just dudes that were dripping with steroids but less cool content and less cool moves. I'm not sure what the state of it is like now, but I suppose it still has a huge audience.

This is his Firefly Funhouse. His alter ego is called The Fiend. The Mask was designed, so I've heard, by a team lead by makeup effects genius Tom Savini. I think when they brought back Starrcade last year, he wrestled as the regular Bray Wyatt character too though, sort of a deranged Mr. Rogers lol:
