The Brewster vs Liahovich fight in 2007 was a modern classic.
Pretty much damaged them both beyond repair.
          Helluva fight!

            In no real order.

Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier III.
Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier I.
Andrew Golota vs Rid**** Bowe II.
Evander Holyfield vs Rid**** Bowe I.
            Larry Holmes vs Ken Norton.
            George Foreman vs Ron Lyle.
Mike Tyson vs Razor Ruddock II 'Just a personal favorite'.
            Muhammad Ali vs Ernie Shavers.
            Muhammad Ali vs George Foreman.

Note: Wladimir Kiltschko vs Anthony Joshua was the greatest heavyweight fight possibly of the past decade 'I am aware that I wrote 9 fights'. As a poster mentioned up above? Brewster vs Liahovich was a complete war, I can remember catching the highlights of that fight.

Braddock Baer was a work. And a dud of a fight. Baer-Schmeling was for the title, right?

I'd definitely replace Foreman-Frazier. Probably for the FOTC, or something including Holmes, Tyson or Holyfield.

Any Ali rant is worth it.

Baer-Schmeling was for the title and was Ring Magazine's Fight of the Year for 1933 but I have never seen the fight.

I would have liked to have seen a classic boxer, Braddock, outbox a slugger, over 15 rounds. Most often when a boxer wins a title from a ****er he is usually moving backwards most of the fight. Braddock didn't have those kinds of moves, he had to stay in front of Baer avoid the bombs and still outbox him.

But yea in regards to excitment it was probably a snozzer.

                    - -Call these the underrated, greatest fights:

Ad Wolgast KO Battling Nelson in a magnificent 40 rd war of attrition, and...

Joe Jeannette KO Sam McVea in a brutal 49 rd war in Paris for the colored title.

Some of the Earliest 20th century classics buried in the sands of time.
