Bowe is terribly overrated, but there's no denying that he was a big man who was tremendous on the inside.

He was no Foreman, but he was closer to him than he was to Mathis. Somewhere between Ali of FOTC and Ali of the Rematch - ironic, because the worse version of Ali beat Frazier.

I also don't think Bowe goes down that easy. Sure, when he wasn;t winning he kjust kinda stood there and took punishment. But he wasn't a Julian Jackson type.

Since Frazier lacked real KO power, I kinda feel the best he can HOPE for is a narrow UD.
Rid**** Bowe, overrated? , you goon we're talking about a prime Rid**** Bowe, possibly one of the most dangerous heavyweights of all time but nonetheless I appreciate the respect for his chin

No... Bowe did it to himself and he would have done the same. It does not even have to do with what Bowe could have achieved. If you think this through you will see that some fighters always have their self as the most powerful opponent.

Wilder is not a great champion in history Rusty...He may be one day. And Bowe could not beat golota, yet he would dust off guys Frazier fought?

        your really stretching credability here.

So now Frazier fights like Golota?

Wilder's KO streak is legendary. It took the best fighter to ever lace up gloves to finally put an end to it.

Golota is a good measuring stick. When you take away his dirty tactics, his self destructive tendencies, and look at him as a fighter, he is very basic. He fights orthodox european with good hand speed, punch selection, and talent.

In a sense we can compare a lot of fighters to Golota, because he is essentially a very talented, very basic fighter. In this respect we can look at Frazier, a guy who was better than Golota, especially at pressuring an opponent (which is what Golota did to Bowe) and use Golota as a yardstick...certainly.

This is that classic great big man vs. a great small man scenario. Frazier often took too many punches; Bowe would have proven too powerful for Frazier (just as Foreman did) and Frazier would catch too many early on. Bowe by an early TKO, two to four rounds.

On the other hand, Ali would have coasted to an easy 15 UD against Bowe. It's that whole "styles make fights" thing.

                - -Big Dummy is to Big George as Audley was to Lewis.

Frazier has DumDum gutted and spit roasted by 10.

                    - - Big Dummy old movement and style now. Modern movement Fat Andy whoops him up and then puts him on the outdoor spit roaster.
