I didn't say Floyd wasn't shopworn. I said he wasn't AS shopworn. I don't see how the same purse split wasn't warranted until after Manny got knocked out by Marquez. Before then though?

How would Floyd somehow know with any certainty that if he waited 6 years to fight Pacquiao he would be less shopworn? That's just silly.

Especially given that he was struggling with hand problems the whole time.

A 50/50 purse split became less warranted over time because Floyd's PPV numbers were coming in higher than Pacquiao's.

Because his defense was better, so he knew better how to avoid damage. He didn't think it would take as long as 6 years though. Or that it would ever happen. But by the time all conditions were finally agreed to, Floyd knew he could beat Manny by then.

But you never know if there's going to be some injury in a fight or in training camp. And yes, his defense was better but that didn't stop Maidana from roughing him up did it?

And his brittle hands could have led him to retire at any time. Which he almost did.

It's preposterous to me that anyone thinks Floyd had some grand plan to wait Pacquiao out. He tried to make the fight in 2009 and when Pac was being difficult he just said screw it and moved on.

USADA had nothing more than an ancient B Sample that tes tested su****ious using an experimental testing proceedure never implemented.

It was the FBI threatening lance teammates with jail time, not USADA that brought Lance down. They wasted some 20 million bucks of taxpayer money to get to the point where always team oriented Lance was not gonna skip out on his team.
