    Kayo artist Bob Foster

Just watched this highlight reel of Bob Foster.

Man some of these fights looks like only inches away from fatalities.

Some of the ko's are well known. Others I've never seen before.

If you like brutal power, this is a treat:

They shoulda at least held an inquest after he massacred **** Tiger, one of my favs who was too brave beyond his limited capacity at LH.

A former ATG and not spoken about enough. Tremendous punching power. Reminds me of a larger version of Hearns. Jose Torres steered clear of him at all costs. One of the greatest at LHW.

Foster's name comes up when discussing the best at Light Heavy and when discussing the hardest punchers. I rank him particularly in the second category... But could see him in the first as well. For me it would depend on if we consider performance in the heavyweight division as part of light heavy, or not. And of course no one could hold a loss to Frazier and Ali against Bob.

Thats a great analogy about Hearns.

                --- Amen to some consensus.

At least one of those heavy losses was as a last minute replacement out of the crowd because of a no show.

Common stuff back then that folks don't understand today.

As I recall Foster cut Ali--a small permanent scar that few others achieved.

Was there ever talk of Jerry Quarry vs Bob in a revenge match?

Foster was the idol of Keith Richards. Look at the veins in that arm.
