Moorer should get the nod over George as well, even though the probabilities didnāt work in his favor, he was out classing George and probably could have eased off and won a decision. If Moorer goes to take out Baer the same thing is gonna happen.
You're a crazy idiot no one made amateurs fighting like they did in max era in 70s,so how would baer do great you need help

AAU amature champions were being crown as early as 1905 and other State recognized amatuer champions during the late 19th Century.

As with both baseball and football, in the early 1900s amateur champions in boxing were often recognized as equal and in some cases as better than their professional counter parts.

George Dixon, the professional didn't get undisputed recognition of the festherweight title until he defeated Jack Skelly, recognized amature champion at the Carnival of Champions in 1892, New Orleans.

This information wasn't for you, it is in case others might want to know.

But for you . . . Amature boxing early on was far more expanded than you understand.

Baer was a huge hitter and Moorer well beatable at heavy. Old, chubby foreman koed him. I suspect moorer wins the early rounds before getting caught flush. Baer ko 9

I was able to watch Moorer from his early days. The head guy from my amateur gym used to take us down to Cobo Arena for the Kronk fight nights. Moorer was laying these guys cold as a Light-Heavyweight in quick fashion. He could have ruled that class for years. But for the money, I assume, he jumped to Heavyweight. He did defeat Evander and he made some good money through his Heavyweight years. ..............Rockin'
