    Lomachenko vs Pep

Two of the most pure of boxers. Who wins this one, and why?

    Lomo b/c he's a southpaw.
Sal Sanchez vs Loma would have been more fun.

--- Pep and Sal Sanchez both unbelievable talents in my world, but I don't think Loma survives sals car crash, but he's tuff enuf to surve peps plane crash to return to boxing like pep did.

At their bests one on one, I've never seen such a fighter hang in the pocket with the artistic foot, body, and head movement to consistently dishearten opponents with punches delivered in the full 3 dimensional spectrum.

When adding his best ever AMA credentials, there has never been any better. He only lacks longevity that is the hardest mistress to master.

I am rather shocked that some would even mention a fighter with a dozen pro fights in the same breath as Pep or Sanchez. Lomo is a fast tricky southpaw. In no way shape or form has he proven himself as an ATG. Time is the only thing that will tell.

Well, one dude who barely had over a dozen fights gave Sal all the hell he could handle in Azumah Nelson.
I never saw Sal get hit so much until that fight .
And Azumah only had a two-weeks notice.

But Azumah then had a HOF career and probably is the best champion from África.

Lomachenko does not have any elite rival in his resume

Best is Salido and he lost with him

I like Loma and he is very good but don't put him with those kif of Legends, he need to do mucho more.

Lomachenko is good but it is so common to compare present good fighters to the all time greats. The comparisons generally fall short. Lets wait until all is said and done on the career of Loma and then it will be much easier to tell.

Does it matter ? Azumah had ZERO US experience when Sal fought him.
Salido is better than Linares and Walters ?
Dude, that was Loma's second fight . And Salido was over weight .

Sal did not venture above 126 either .
Sal's biggest asset was his feet and stamina.
Loma has better feet and is a southpaw.
Sal might have beat Loma but it sure wouldn't have been a blowout .
Even Pat Cowdell survived Sal for 15 rounds. And he was a bum.
Btw, Sal was knocked down in a fight in LA once. And got a gift draw.

As big a Loma fan as I am, I have to agree with this. The guy's a super talent right now but let's see what else he can do first.

                    Isn't Pep like a top 3-5 all-time great? Lol

I love Loma, but he just got his 11th win. I'll pick Pep for now.
