Has boxing gotten better at catching juicing fighters these days? Or does it only happen when they agree to OST, like in Mayweather's later fights? I read the UFC uses something called VADA, which has caught a lot of guys since they implemented it.
Nice screen name, by the way. Are you a fan of Spider-Man or do you just really like rice?
I like Spidey but I named myself after a box of rice

They use USADA, which is far more expensive than VADA.
The real problem with this issue is that it is not as simple as people like to make it. Its not black and white regarding enhancements and even the nature of the enhancements.
When one ages healing takes longer and chronic conditions can be aggravated. Many steroids are simply used to speed up the healing process for an older athlete. that is just good medicine. Victor Comte started out doing very detailed nutritional analysis for athletes and by giving compound preparations he got tremendous results...some of these nutritional catalysts used steriodal preperations, but what makes a steroid so different than other supplements?
It has to do more with something we produce in our bodies that is really the difference...think about that. All these compounds are catalysts, enzimic catalysts mostly, that help us use fat, carbs and proteins...the fact that some of them are produced by our glandular system is what the issue is, but many of these same chemicals occur naturally as well.
Ultimately having a body that is ripped from male steroids does not help a fighter much at all and using chemicals to enhance oxygen efficiency are not primarily steroidal anyway...so why are these looked upon with such contempt? If I go to a doctor and heal quickly that is good medicine, whether it be steroid, or not. Just something to think about.
