Spinks is 100x better than tarver and would beat Roy

Let's cut to the chase. Styles make fights, and I believe Spinks has a fatal flaw when it comes to facing RJJ. Nothing to be ashamed of. Most light heavy ATGs would have the same problem with Roy--they would simply not be fast enough to beat him. This is the problem Spinks has. The speed difference is critical. Spinks is not a fast light heavyweight but Jones is the fastest light heavyweight ever.

A lot of fighters with fast hands have been beaten by fighters with lesser hand speed. Micheal was as fast but he was fast enough .There is no way Jones wouldn't get hit and hit hard by Spinks. Micheal had power in both hands delivered in a variety of ways. Can't see Roy who was a tremendous Middleweight beating Spinks.

My favorite line that preceeds a Kato Seller's home destruction is where he is in a Japanese restaurant and Kato dressed as the waitress hands him a bill tray with a fortune cookie...Sellers then says "That is funnny, a fourtune cookie in a Japanese restaurant?" And there it starts!!!

I know what you mean because when Jones was on he was incredible but.....

Mike is a far superior fighter to Jones who was a very good boxer. Eventually Mike's double jab cuts distance along with Mike timing Jones to "punch with him" and that will be the difference.

Jones 5'11" 175 73 reach
Spinks 6' 2 1/2" 175 76 reach


Spinks was a superior puncher with both hands and worked combinations as well as any light heavy ever.
