Going back to the '68-'88 time period I would also add in some outstanding contenders such as Pierre Fourie, Andy Kendall, Jesse Burnett, Mike Quarry, Eddie Davis, 'Bossman' Jones, Jimmy Dupree and Avenamar Peralta. This really was an outstanding era.Comment

Hard to beat those Amos & Andy episodes. The gentleman who played Kingfish (Tim Moore) was a professional prize fighter for a while and fought Archie Moore.Comment
