Which ATG fight did you enjoy more?

Sugar Ray Leonard vs Thomas Hearns 1 or Marvin Hagler vs Sugar Ray Leonard? I'm a big fan of the "Four Kings" so this is a tough one for me but I gotta go with the Hagler-SRL fight just because of all the build-up and the fact that this was a fight that took years to happen and needed to happen to confirm who was the best of that era. Hagler seemed unstoppable but SRL was unique and special.

I know it wasn't as action-packed as Hearns-SRL but it was fascinating to watch and you had to be amazed at how well Ray performed despite all the time off. I'm not going to get into who should've won (that's a different topic and huge debate in of itself) but I enjoyed the fight more because it was just great to see two of the greatest of all time go at it in one of the most significant fights of all time. Especially after Hagler started fighting orthodox the first few rounds then really stepped it up later in the fight. You could see how much both of them wanted it and I never get tired of watching it no matter how many times I see it.

Ray-Hearns was more exciting because both guys had to adjust and fight in different styles. Ray being the boxer then realizing it wasn't working and going for the kill in the last few rounds. Heartbreaking fight to watch if you were a fan of Hearns but this is a perfect example of how a fighters legacy can be enhanced despite not winning. He gave it everything he had. I also thought the rematch they had was very entertaining (I already made a thread about it and the decision).

So which one did you enjoy more?

    Leonard - Hearns.

Favourite Leonard fight is Duran I by far though, obviously, seen it at least 20 times, never get bored of it.

Boom, was just gonna say this. First with that horrible announcement in the ring making Hagler think he'd fight him then announcing his retirement instead, then waiting until he was past prime to fight him. With Hearns, he fought him when they were both prime.

I watched both live BITD. At the time I hands Down enjoyed Leonard's upset of Hagler more.
