Weaver, Norton, Cobb, Cooney, Ali, Berbick, Shavers, Witherspoon, Spinks, etc....None of these guys would have beaten Marciano at the time they fought Holmes.

There are no technically "wrong" answers but there are outlandish ones. Me saying that a rubber duck beats Marciano isn't as plausible as saying prime Muhammad Ali beats Marciano just because it isn't provable.

i cant see rocky dealing with fighters of these sizes hes never faced anyone like these hw. it is not that big of a reach to assume rocky loses to a bunch of bigger hw. the norton that fought holmes, imho, beats rocky. ditto spoon and spinks.

Here's how the fight would go:

Holmes would start the fight using his excellent jab, Keeping Rocky at bay and building up an amass of points whilst churning up Marciano's face. However, in the latter rounds, when the jab starts losing power and sharpness, Rocky would start to get through it and find a place for that right/left hand.

Holmes lasts until the end of the fight and wins an MD/UD.

Unless Marciano adopted and developed a bobbing, Tyson-like, 'peak-a-boo' style then I can't see Rocky winning the fight.

Both ATG fighters but Rocky may have just been too small at heavyweight.

Most of what I've read discredits Rocky for not being good at what he never needed to be good at in the first place than supposes one has to acquire those skills in order to be better than Larry. It's absurd. Even if your opinion is Larry was better that sort of evidence is just ******. It doesn't reflect how either fight fought just what you think it takes to beat a fighter.

same way rocky gets the auto win vs guys of a certain size. just because hes rocky and has so many legitimate prime corpses laying on the ground.
