    OK: Cade says "because of the different frame rate you cannot just slow it down." He then told me that what they do is "double the frames up so that the movements increase in rate." So what you would have to do is splice in frames so that you have the correct frame ratio and this results in natural looking movements. But the speeds were different and that is the thing to overcome.

      Okay, but I heard back in the '90s Joe Bob Briggs mention on Monstervision someone had done this with some old film, so now, at least 20 years later, modern technology must be able to do this as well. Would make those older boxing matches and baseball or football footage look a lot more realistic.

        Tony is a good guy, I met him and spoke with him a number of years ago.

        He definitely knows boxing, even today's fighters he knows although he's critical of most of them. Like a lot of the older generation he's biased to the older generation.
