Froch = the better resume. Calzaghe = the better fighter.

I'm basing this largely on their respective performances against Mikkel Kessler, which is admittedly a small sample size.

But would you agree or disagree?

I think Froch has the better resume, is the better fighter but Joe probably edges him h2h.
I think 90% would pick Joe on workrate but if anybody can match it its Froch.

        disagree.

styles make fights, kessler has a nightmare style for froch who is really further ahead of him than their fights would indicate.

calzaghe could never do to bute what froch did for instance, i would acctually favor bute had they fought. dirrell and jean pascal too. perhaps glen johnson as well although he was getting on quite a bit by the time froch fought him.

but thats teh thing right there, froch fought him. he fought everyone. joe was all about clever management, froch was all about fighting. that should tell you who the better fighter is. if calzaghe could have performed like froch in big fights he wouldnt have avoided them.

froch is superior to calzaghe in every way. inside and outside the ring.

Id say Froch has more depth, but Calzaghe has the better top level wins.

Peak Kessler and retrospectively a decent version of Hopkins (at LHW too) beat Froch comfortably imo whereas Calzaghe beat Kess and had a 50/50 fight with Bhop.

I would definitely lean towards Joe being the better fighter, and i think he would win if they fought H2H

Froch is the better fighter and has a way better resume.

It's hard to not say Froch has the best resume, when you look at it. But I believe Joe would've landed over a 1000 punches on Carl, making him look slow, like 10-2 on the scorecards. Joe's style would be ******nite to Carl's. Joe would fight a smart fight, and avoid danger most of the time. Carl would need a KO as he himself said. Probably one of the more boring Froch fights, had it happened. Like the one against Ward.

Both fighters are top entertainers and true men.

Froch actually beat Kessler in their first fight. He out landed him. It was a bigger Robbery than the Kovalev-Ward fight.

I'm not sure froch has a better resume..

On a resume, it lists your best achievements

Calzaghe 2 different divisions as the clear #1 guy

Froch was never #1 in any division

I don't see how froch can have a better resume when he was never #1 at any point in his career and calzaghe managed that feat in 2 different divisions
