Greg Page could punch. When he was coming up, the only people that lasted were Jimmy Young and George Chaplin twice, and he actually hurt both fighters in all 3 fights he went the distance. His lack of training and motivation of course hurt his career and punching power.

Definitely Chris Byrd to my knowledge. He was a blown up middleweight that went to heavyweight only because he couldn't get fights at middleweight after he turned pro. Couldn't crack an egg. Toney even hit harderComment

Bugner and Wepner seemed like 2 softer punchers for their time.
The majority of up and comers today can't punch, I know Fury can't - its just Wilder can't move his head either.Comment
